What is it?

Precision Systems' Power-Pacs are the answer for dependable standby power in outdoor environments. These turn key packages arrive fully assembled and factory tested. Precision Systems uses various enclosures for our Power-Pacs. Most units feature our single piece molded fiberglass enclosure that is both low cost and easy on maintenance. A 100 KW generator set with fiberglass enclosure shipping to the customer. When installed, the unit will be buried up to within 4 in of the access door. A diesel unit installed in Buffalo Grove, IL. It is providing stand-by power to a pump station. The generator is a 75 KW unit. This unit was installed in 1980.

Photographed during construction this diesel unit was manufactured in 1978. The 3000 Series housing, in the background will be installed when the station is complete. This unit is still operating today. Installed in Lemont, IL in 1982, this unit provides stand-by power to a main influent lift station for the WWTP. The customer selected the partial bury design for the sound attenuation properties of the design. It is located within 10 ft. of a residence.

Installed in 1998 this unit is a 150KW natural gas engine for a lift station in Clark County, NV. This unit included the customers pump control panel and VFD's for the lift station. All of the electrical components were installed and wired by Precision Systems. This unit was installed in downtown Phoenix in 1978. It provides power to a storm water pump station located adjacent to the station. The light color of the housing has prevented 'chalking' even in the Arizona sun.

This unit is on its way to Clear Lake, IA. It is our largest fiberglass enclosure with a 750 KW diesel generator. The unit was installed in 1997. A 200 KW unit in Buffalo Township, PA. This unit provides stand-by power for the wastewater treatment plant. This unit was installed in 1997.

This 3500 Series enclosure is protecting a 250 KW diesel generator constructed for Branchberg, NJ. This unit is installed near a bank, in northern Indiana. It is our 4000 Series enclosure housing a 750 KW generator with a 1000 gallon fuel tank. The architect for this project chose Precision Systems due to the aesthetic requirements of the application.

Installed in 1995 this unit in Merrillville, IN currently houses a 175 KW generator in a fast developing area. As station demand increases, the generator will be replaced by a 500 KW generator. The extensions on the sides of the housing are insulated air scoops for sound attenuation of the air intake and exhaust. A customer requested colored housing. This unit was installed in 1980 with a 250 KW natural gas generator.

 A diesel powered Tip-Up unit with installed in 1999. The housing is our Series 1000, our smallest. The generator is a 20 KW Unit. This unit was photographed prior to installation. This unit was installed in a residential area where noise reduction was critical. The scoop on the side of the housing is for sound attenuation

A Series 1500 enclosed generator installed in a residential neighborhood. The enclosure is a 1500 Series and houses a 35 KW generator. Note the insulated exhaust system standard on all Precision Systems equipment.  This unit is ready to ship to Merrillville, IN. It is a 3000T Series Tip-Up enclosure with a 150 KW generator.

Another 1000 Series enclosure with a 20 KW generator. This unit provides back-up power to a water booster station in the city of Lansing, IL. A Tip-Up unit with a customer specified colored housing.
The generator provides back-up power to the waste water pump station shown in the foreground. This unit was installed in 1985

What styles are available?

 Tip-Up Tip-Up Power-Pac

 The Tip-Up Power-Pac, photo on left, is our most cost effective package. Opening of the enclosure is assisted with gas charge lift assists making access to the generator and transfer switch simple and quick. Units range in size from approximately 20 KW to 150 KW. The fiberglass enclosure provides excellent sound attenuation of the engine noise and requires no maintenance.

 The Partial-Bury Power-Pac shown here is our lowest profile package. The unit is buried 5 ft. in the ground allowing operators to enter the unit and preform all necessary maintenance in a warm dry environment that they can stand up and walk around in normally. Ideal for sound attenuation or aesthetically challenged areas, the Partial-Bury Power-Pac was designed with residential applications in mind.

 Walk-In Walk-In Power-Pac

 The Walk-In Power-Pac is used for the largest applications. Our single piece molded fiberglass enclosures are capable of enclosing up to a 900 KW engine. Precision Systems also manufactures other enclosure styles are maintenance free like our fiberglass, but simulate traditional building materials like brick, stucco, or stone. A conspicuous enclosure for a very large generator.
